Online Fee Calculator

Notes:

This Fee Calculator covers the main provisions of the Land Registration Fee Order for applications received at Land Registry offices on or after 06 July 2009.

If you have any queries regarding applications not covered by this calculator please contact your Local Office.


The Fee Calculator consists of 3 stages:

  1. Select type of application
  2. Enter value AND/OR rent payable (if applicable)
  3. Calculate fee

Stage 1

Please choose the type of application for which you wish to calculate the fee:

Adverse possession – a person entitled to be notified of an application for adverse possession
Adverse possession – to register a person in adverse possession of a registered estate

Outline application to secure priority for a dealing with registered land
Rentcharge (registered) – to close or partly close a rentcharge title other than on surrender
Rentcharge (unregistered - determination of) - cancelling notice of - for EACH title affected
Restriction – not contained in Schedule 4, Land Registration Rules, 2003

Stage 2

Enter transaction value (rounded down to nearest £, numbers ONLY e.g. 49750). This is the value on which the fee is to be assessed even if there is no actual "transaction" taking place. If you are unsure how to assess the value, please consult the relevant section of the Fee Order.

N.B. Where V.A.T. is payable, scale fees must be paid on the V.A.T.- inclusive consideration or rent.
