Important developmentsWelsh language servicesLand Registry's Welsh Language Scheme - fourth edition Land Registry's revised Welsh Language Scheme is now available. The scheme has been prepared in accordance with Section 21(3) of the Welsh Language Act 1993 and it received the Welsh Language Board's formal approval in March. The scheme sets out how Land Registry will treat the Welsh and English languages on the basis of equality. Land Registry's Glossary of Legal Terms – fourth edition Land Registry recently produced the fourth edition of its Glossary of Legal Terms. The Glossary is produced under Land Registry's Welsh Language Scheme and has proved popular with practitioners who practice in the Welsh language. The content is not intended to be exhaustive and we would welcome any suggestions for terms to be added in the future. |
